UKO Top Ryde transforms a prominent Blaxland Road site into a contemporary co-living development, delivering more than 170 self-contained rooms supported by shared amenities, landscaped communal areas, and ground-floor retail. The project responds to the demand for flexible, affordable accommodation models, creating a vibrant and connected urban community.
DC Partnership acted as the fire safety engineers, resolving a series of complex challenges driven by the site’s steep topography and infrastructure constraints. Key issues included the use of a common core in each tower, which discharged at a mid-level point and required careful consideration of rising and descending stair separation, as well as the compartmentation strategy for the multi-level basement carpark.
