The Western Sydney University Clinical School at Campbelltown Hospital provides a purpose-built facility for medical teaching, research, and collaboration. Spanning four levels, the building connects seamlessly into the broader hospital campus, creating a central hub that supports both students and healthcare professionals.
DC Partnership acted as the fire safety engineers and accessibility consultants, addressing complex challenges to support the project’s design and function. The building’s central atrium extended across four levels, driving the need for tailored fire engineering solutions that eliminated the requirement for mechanical smoke exhaust. Our team also guided the integration of gender-neutral bathrooms to ensure inclusive design outcomes and provided strategies to manage fire and accessibility compliance within the wider hospital campus setting.
These solutions enabled the delivery of a safe, inclusive, and future-focused teaching and clinical facility.
