The Emanuel School redevelopment delivered a contemporary teaching and learning facility that strengthens the school’s ability to support students, staff and the broader community. Designed by TKD Architects and built by Grindley, the new works provide flexible classrooms, specialist learning areas and modern amenities within the existing campus.
DC Partnership provided Building Code Consultancy, Fire Safety Engineering, and Accessibility & Inclusive Design. DCP’s fire strategy supported the integration of new facilities into an operational campus, the accessibility and inclusive design team guided equitable and dignified use of every area, and the building code team worked with the architects and builder on material selections and detailing that balanced the requirements with the design aspirations.
