The Emanuel School redevelopment delivered a contemporary teaching and learning facility that enhances the school’s ability to support students, staff, and the broader community. The new works provide flexible classrooms, specialist learning areas, and modern amenities, integrated within the existing campus setting.
DC Partnership acted as the fire safety engineers, accessibility consultants, and BCA advisors for the project. Our fire strategy addressed the challenges of integrating new facilities into an operational school campus, ensuring safe egress and effective compartmentation. The accessibility team guided inclusive design solutions, ensuring equitable and dignified access across all areas. Our BCA team worked closely with the architects and builders to support material selections, detailing, and documentation pathways, balancing compliance with design aspirations.
The result is a safe, inclusive, and compliant education facility that strengthens Emanuel School’s commitment to excellence in learning.
