Halo, on the corner of Hunter and Pitt Streets in the Sydney CBD, is a 55-storey tower designed by Bates Smart for Milligan Group and Cbus Property. Set to become the world’s tallest timber hybrid tower, it is planned alongside the future Hunter Street Metro Station and includes the retention of the heritage Pangas House.
DC Partnership provided Building Code Consultancy, Fire Safety Engineering, and Accessibility & Inclusive Design for the development application. Working alongside the project team at this early stage, DCP’s advice supported an integrated strategy for a timber hybrid tower of this height, set beside a heritage building and a future metro station.
An ambitious timber tower, supported by integrated regulatory advice from the earliest stage.
