Kingsgrove Connect is a multi-unit industrial estate in Sydney’s inner south-west, designed to provide high-quality, flexible warehouse and office spaces. The development supports a range of users with adaptable layouts, modern amenities, and strong transport connections, contributing to the growth of the local employment precinct.
DC Partnership acted as the BCA, Fire Safety Engineering, and Accessibility and Inclusive Design consultants. Our fire strategy addressed the challenges of large-span warehouse spaces, with a strong focus on compartmentation and the reduction of FRLs. This approach not only ensured compliance but also delivered significant cost savings on materials and construction handling. The BCA team supported the project from design through delivery, guiding compliance strategies around fire separation, loading dock design, and integration of office components. From an accessibility and inclusive design perspective, we developed a bespoke strategy for bathroom layouts to reflect the specific occupant characteristics of industrial and warehouse tenancies, ensuring efficient yet equitable outcomes.
Through a coordinated, performance-based approach across all three disciplines, we enabled the delivery of a safe, inclusive, and cost-effective industrial estate tailored to modern user needs.
