The Mutual Bank’s new head office provides a modern workplace that reflects the bank’s identity and commitment to its members. The design delivers open, collaborative spaces with a striking architectural form that anchors the organisation’s presence in the community.
DC Partnership acted as the Fire Safety Engineers, undertaking a detailed egress assessment to ensure safe occupant movement throughout the building. We also developed a fire engineering analysis for the external Y-shaped structural column, enabling the omission of fire rating while maintaining safety performance. This performance-based approach preserved the architectural design intent while achieving compliance.
