As Managing Director of DC Partnership, he’s the go-to for accessibility, fire safety engineering, and universal design—helping bring ambitious projects to life. Since founding DC Partnership in 2010, he’s partnered with top architects and builders to bring award-winning heritage, commercial, and public builds to life.

Known for his sharp eye and no-compromise approach, Luke makes sure every project strikes a balance between compliance and creativity, without ever compromising on vision.

General Manager

Ellie is the powerhouse behind DC Partnership’s financial, operational and people performance. With over a decade of experience in consultancies, startups and corporate environments, she’s a master at combining big-picture strategy with hands-on problem-solving. Since joining DC Partnership in 2021, Ellie has streamlined operations, expanded the company’s footprint and kept everything running smoother than ever. A champion of diversity, inclusion and female leadership, Ellie is all about creating a workplace where everyone feels valued—and where no challenge is too big to tackle.

John La Scala

Principal (Accessibility)

John is the kind of guy who makes accessibility look easy (even though we all know it’s anything but). With over a decade of experience in construction, he’s a pro at weaving accessibility into built environments while keeping everything in line with the Building Code of Australia (BCA). Whether he’s on-site or at his desk, John’s attention to detail and problem-solving skills ensure every project runs like clockwork. His passion? Creating spaces that don’t just work but work for everyone—functional, inclusive, and thoughtfully designed.

Lindsay Beard

Principal (Building Codes)
Lindsay is our Principal Building Code Consultant here at DC Partnership, bringing decades of experience across complex commercial, residential and public sector projects. He is known for his deep technical knowledge of the NCC and his ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear, practical advice that supports good design outcomes. Since joining DC Partnership, Lindsay has played a key role in delivering large scale and technically demanding projects, providing trusted guidance to clients and project teams alike. His calm considered approach and commitment to quality make him a valued mentor within the team and a reliable voice on compliance strategy.

Tony leads DC Partnership’s Crowd Experience service, CrowdEx, bringing specialist expertise in people movement, crowd behaviour and operational safety across events, venues and public spaces. With a background spanning major events, transport environments and complex public realm projects, Tony combines technical analysis with a strong understanding of human behaviour. Since joining DC Partnership, he has established CrowdEx as a complementary and standalone service that integrates seamlessly with DC’s broader life safety and compliance expertise. Tony’s approach is practical, people focused and grounded in real world operational outcomes.

Dona plays a key role in supporting project teams by ensuring systems, processes and coordination are in place to allow work to be delivered efficiently and consistently. Her work helps enable well coordinated, compliant project outcomes that ultimately benefit the people who use the spaces being delivered. She enjoys researching new tools, exploring technology and improving workflows to make everyday work easier and more efficient. While not an IT specialist, Dona is known for finding practical, fit for purpose tech solutions that support the team and improve operations.
