PHIVE at Parramatta Square is a striking six-storey community, cultural, and civic hub that houses a world-class library, council chambers, creative spaces, and public facilities. Designed by DesignInc in collaboration with Lacoste + Stevenson and Manuelle Gautrand Architecture, the building has become a new icon for Western Sydney, reflecting the city’s cultural diversity and ambition.
DC Partnership acted as the BCA consultants for the project. Our role focused on navigating the complex compliance requirements of a multi-use civic building, ensuring that fire safety, access, and amenity provisions were fully integrated into the design. By providing clear guidance across documentation and coordination, we supported the project team in delivering a safe and compliant facility without compromising its architectural vision.
The result is a civic landmark that balances bold design with robust compliance, serving the Parramatta community as a place for learning, gathering, and cultural expression.
