The redevelopment of Rainbow Street Public School in Randwick delivered a major expansion for a growing local community. Designed by TKD Architects and built by Kane Constructions, the works include new learning spaces, specialist facilities, a library and upgraded play areas.
DC Partnership provided Building Code Consultancy, Fire Safety Engineering, and Accessibility & Inclusive Design. DCP’s fire strategy supported the multi-storey learning spaces and large play areas, the accessibility and inclusive design team worked with School Infrastructure NSW standards to create equitable, dignified use of teaching and play areas, and the building code team coordinated the project from concept to completion without compromising the architectural vision.
