Sky Park brings together all facets of Sydney FC under one roof for the first time in the club’s history. Located at Macquarie University, the Centre of Excellence integrates professional training facilities, academy spaces, community programs, and fan engagement areas, creating a landmark for Australian football.
DC Partnership acted as the BCA and Accessibility and Inclusive Design consultants. We played a pivotal role in guiding the design to ensure the innovative use of cross-laminated timber (CLT) and glulam structural elements could be achieved within a Deemed-to-Satisfy (DtS) pathway. This approach provided clarity and certainty for the design and approvals process, allowing the architectural vision to be fully realised. Our accessibility and inclusive design strategy ensured equitable and dignified access for players, staff, and supporters across all areas of the facility, from elite training environments to community and fan-focused spaces.
The result is a safe, compliant, and inclusive facility that celebrates football at every level.
